Sammy Padgett and I did the hike this week. We started a bit earlier at 5:45. We were treated with a beautiful clear sky with burning red sunset over ATL. After dark it cooled off sharply and was a bit breezy at the top. We started the 1st lap off relatively easy, then picked up the pace some. Sammy made 2 1/2 trips up and down the trail. I made 4 laps (~10mi) up & down and finished up about 8:30 pm. Have some photos from this event that you'd like to share in our photo album? Please forward them to at photos@atlantaoutdoorclub.com.
