| Itinerary: |
Join me on this Tuesday afternoon for a hike around Chastain Park. There are approximately 4 miles of trails that border this area.
We will meet at the "storm shelter"(a small covered bus stop-like area) at the north end of the Red Parking lot. This is next to the Amphitheater so it should be easy for everyone to locate.
We'll start our hike on the east side of the park following the entire length of the park and cross Nancy Creek. There will be points of interest along the way and hopefully nice weather as well! Chastain Park is Fulton County's largest public park. You may have attended a concert at this location before, but there are other events held here as well. |

4469 Stella Drive, Atlanta GA 30327 Red Lot Parking Lot.
From south of Chastain Park, go north on Roswell Road to Wieuca Road.
From north of Chastain Park, go south on Roswell Road to Wieuca Road.
Turn left on Wieuca Road to Lake Forrest Road.
Continue west on West Wieuca Road to Powers Ferry Road.
Right on Powers Ferry to Stella Drive.
Right on Stella Drive to Amphitheater parking lot on right.
We will meet at the storm shelter on the north end of the parking lot. Look for my white Toyota Corolla. | |
