Itinerary:
Join me for an evening fitness / training hike at Stone Mountain Park.  The hike will be hill repeats on the 2km mile trail to the top. .

The trip leader will be doing 3 or more hill repeats on the Mountain, with short breaks at the top and bottom.  Total distance will be around 7+ miles. Move at your own pace and stop when you've had enough.  The group will likely spread out, so be prepared prepared to hike alone at times. There are typically very few people on the mountain at night.

Enjoy a nice 360 degree view of the Atlanta Skyline at night from the top.

We will be hiking after sunset, so a light is required.  A headlamp is recommended over a flashlight to stay hands-free.  The steep sections can be slippery when wet. Trail shoes with good traction are also advised.  Be prepared for a cold wind above the treeline.

Weather Dependant...if conditions are likely to be hazardous on the steep slopes, the hike will be rescheduled or cancelled until the following week.  This is intended to be  weekly event.
