Itinerary:

We will begin our hike by heading straight to Jones Bridge.  Get your photo here while you’re fresh if you want one.  Then, after a brief look at the river from the nearby dock, we get down to business.  We will walk along the river then veer into the hills for a bit before coming to a small lake, doing a bit of looping and finishing along the river.

From Northbound U.S. 19/Ga. 400 
Take exit 7A for Ga. 140 East (Holcomb Bridge Road) 
Merge onto Ga.140 East (Holcomb Bridge Road), go 4.2 miles 
Turn LEFT onto Barnwell Road, go 1.6 miles 
Turn RIGHT at entrance to Jones Bridge

From Southbound U.S. 19/Ga. 400 
Take exit 7 for Ga. 140 (Holcomb Bridge Road) 
Turn LEFT onto Ga. 140 East (Holcomb Bridge Road), go 4.3 miles 
Turn LEFT onto Barnwell Road, go 1.6 miles 
Turn RIGHT at entrance to Jones Bridge

 

NOTE: We are meeting in the main parking lot at the end of the road.  Go past the small lot with a boat ramp on the right and keep going until you run out of road.
