Itinerary:

We will start off finding the GOLD by hiking some of the perimeter trails to Bull Sluice Lake. There are some rocky ridge trails that we will go on, so be prepared and make sure you wear good hiking boots.

We will also be going up a few steep hills that are in the center of the park so realize this is not a beginner’s hike. We will maintain a moderate pace throughout with a few water breaks to enjoy the tranquility and beauty of the park.

Definition of a D2 hike: Gentle to Moderate elevation gain of 400 to 1000 feet, moderate pace with a distance of 4- 6 miles.  

One dog will be allowed on the hike. Please resgister your dog when you RSVP. 

We will start PROMPTLY at 8:30 am.  Please arrive a few minutes early to get ready and meet everyone. 

There are no restrooms at this location.

If you do not have an annual CRNRA parking pass, you will need to purchase a $3 dollar daily pass at the pay station in the parking lot.

Remove all valuables from your car and trunk since there have been incidents of vandalism in the past.
