Itinerary:

The weather is looking great for Saturday so let's enjoy the sunset at Stone Mountain!

We will start at the restrooms near Confederate Hall. Please be on time for sign-in & introductions.


We will head to the top of the mountain and await the sunset at 8:13pm. Don't forget a flashlight or headlamp for the return trip.

Parking inside the park is $15 per day or an annual pass.
There is free parking in the Stone Mountain Village and you can enter the park as a pedestrian through the West Gate.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:

From I-285 take U.S. Hwy 78 East (Snellville/Athens) exit. Go about 7 miles and take Exit 8, Stone Mountain Park Main Entrance. Go straight ahead after entering the main entrance. Stay to the right of the fork and look for the Confederate Hall parking lot on your left.  Meet outside the restrooms at the base of the walk-up trail.
