Let's enjoy the warmer temps and hike before the weekend rain!!!!

The Vickery Creek section of the Chattahooche National Recreation Area contains many miles of interconnected hiking trails. Our plan is to hike eight miles miles of these trails including visting the old dam on Big Creek.

This will be a moderate paced hike. The pace is between 2.5 to 2.8 mph.  A few water break stops.

We are starting and parking on Oxbo Road.  Approximate address is 145 Oxbo Road.

It is free to park there!
We will start promptly at 10:00AM.

 


Required Items to Bring:

Shoes you can hike in
Water bottle
Clothing appropriate for weather conditions
You should be OK without hiking boots on these trails

We will meeting meeting at the Oxbo parking lot, off of Route 9/120 (Chevron Gas Station), Atlanta Street, Roswell GA.
