a trail run with very lil fast hiking, it's a leg & lung shredding event! It's 5k the HARD WAY! 

Join me as we light up the trails with a trail run mixed with some seriously fast hiking. The VCTR will get that heart rate & step count up right out of the "gates"...This week day D3 trail run (which is  more running than fast hiking) will see some nice elevation, as I take you along what I affectionately dub my "training grounds!" We might hit a coulple of the same paths twice but never in the same direction. This is NOT a "check out the scenery" event. Conditions have been a little sloppy out there, expect some loose terrain - trekking poles are always advised. 

This FAST trail run (with little to no hiking) is along various trails at Vickery Creek CRNRA (in a top secret special direction) there  are no stops planned. The average overall pace will be in the sub 12 minute/mile pace (or quicker) . So, if you haven't been on any of my FAST AOC events recently you're probably not going to like this one - saying it's hard is an undestatement. If I see you falling back pretty far within the first turn (or two) I will ask you to try again after a few months...Safety first, respect to the others second.

Rain or Shine...althought I prefer the latter.

We will meet in the upper parking lot at the Groveway Park area above the Roswell Aquatic Center

There are restrooms at this location + the lot is paved.

Arrive 10-15 minutes early to get head count and intros in. The GPS link above is pretty accurate too...look for the Lil Sasquatch :P
