Itinerary:

Join me for an early morning hike around Island Ford. We will be covering the majority of the trails including the lollypop loop. The plan is to go a bit over 3 mph which is faster than moderate but not extremely fast.

The hike will start from the visitor center parking lot which is located at the end of the road. The restrooms at the visitor center will not be open yet when we start but should be available after the hike.

Parking is $5 if you do not already have a pass(Chattahoochee or America the Beautiful). Info can be found here https ://www.nps.gov/chat/planyourvisit/fees.htm . They no longer take cash and you will need internet on your phone to pay.

Once in the park follow the road until the visitor center at the very end of the road.  You will need to pass two other parking lots before getting to the correct one.
