Itinerary:

Please join me for a hike through the beautiful trails of the Vickery Creek unit of the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area.  

We will hike a little over 5 miles at a steady pace stopping only once to hydrate. 

-----This will be on the faster side of D2.   Not a fitness hike but not a stroll.

For those unfamiliar with Vickery Creek, the trails become somewhat technical in many places due to erosion that exposes roots and leads to difficult footing.  This makes it a bit challenging for newer hikers. Poles are advised for some of the steeper hills.      

There are no restrooms at this location.

Parking is free

Please arrive a few minutes early to check in as we will leave on time.
