This section of the Benton MacKaye Trail shares the trailbed with the Duncan Ridge Trail. We will begin our trek at the Hwy 60 intersection with the BMT. We will be climbing Wallalah Mountain, Licklog Mountain and finally, Rhodes Mountain before hitting Hwy 221. Somewhere along the way we will be stopping for lunch before retracing our steps back to the car. This section of trail is rugged and beautiful and is sure to make for an enjoyable day in the woods. This is a difficult hike with about 3700 feet of elevation gain. Recent High D5 experience is required to join the fun. Your trip leader reserves the right to move under qualified adventurers to the wait list. | |||||||
