Itinerary:

We'll follow Panther Creek on a rugged creekside trail to the falls and swimming hole.  The trail has spots that are angled and rooty but no major hills.  We will take a long break at lunch for wading or fully dipping into some cooling waters.

Take I-985 North which turns into US 23/441. 16 miles past Cornelia, turn left onto Glen Hardman Road, then turn right onto Historic 441 for 1 mile to the Panther Creek Recreation Area parking lot.
* There is a $4 parking fee per car at the trail head. Bring $1 bills if you are driving *

Carpool Cost: Estimated cost per vehicle for this event is $59.20 using a reimbursement rate guideline of $0.400 per mile. The total amount should be divided by the number of people in the vehicle, including the driver. This is a guideline, not a rule, for drivers but the cost should not be higher unless there are extenuating circumstances.
