It has been a while since I have done the Springer/Len Foote loop. Join me as I do this classic AOC hike on a warm Wednesday. We will be starting at the top of the falls... You all know the route, up the AT approach trail, over a few mountains until we reach Springer for an early lunch. After lunch, we retrace our steps until we hit the Len Foote Trail. We will take a quick break at the Hike Inn to enjoy a snack and a peak at the overlook before heading down the trail to our cars. This is a high-end D5 hike with about 3600 feet of elevation gain. You must have recent D5 experience to join the fun. | |||||||
