Join me on a Wednesday hike on Tuesday! It has been a while since I was atop Blood Mountain. Let's take the long way to Blood and earn a D6 too. We start at Woody Gap, where plenty of parking and odiferous pit toilets welcome us. Up Big Cedar Mountain to Preachers Rock we go. After a brief stop at the top, we continue on the undulating trail to Blood. We will continue until we make the numbers for a D6 and then backtrack to the top of Blood for lunch. It will be mostly a downhill trek after lunch as we retrace our steps, at a quick pace, to get back to our cars. Recent D6/High D5 experience is required to join the fun.
