Itinerary:
You are invited to join us as we hike along a new section of the PATH400 trail that recently opened.
We will also hike along an existing section of this multi-use paved trail in Buckhead that is filled green spaces, vibrant public art, restaurants, shops and more.

According to Atlanta Urbanize: "The new one-mile segment, stretching between Wieuca Road up to Loridans Drive, includes the soaring Mountain Way Common bridge. That structure stands nearly 60 feet over the Mountain Way Common greenspace, between Georgia Highway 400 and towering trees."

Katherine recently scouted out this bridge after learning about it and discovered that it's awesome and an engineering marvel! A photo of the bridge is on the hiking event page.

This hike will be at a moderate pace and has an elevation gain of 560 feet. There wlil be several moments when Katherine will stop to take a few photos for social media -- so be aware!

We will meet at Mountain Way Common, a park located near the trail's new bridge over Mountain Way. The park has its own entrance to the trail and provides access to the greenway. Free street parking is available at this location.

After the hike, there is an option to meet for breakfast at a nearby restaurant.

No dogs allowed on this hike.
