Itinerary:

Come join me on a wonderful and vigorous hike at Vineyard Mountain.

We will start at the yellow trail and walk along until we reach the place where we can stop for a minute, drink a bit of water and look at the Alatoona Dam.

At this point, we will hike up the challenging redtrail and stop at the top for a few minute break.

We will then walk down to the the blue trail then return to pick up the yellow trail and get back to our cars.

The hike is  a very rugged and challenging hike. The distance is fairly short but strenuous so this is a good hike for folks ready for a wonderful D4!

But it IS a challenge so be prepared for some big hills!

Please arrive a few minutes before the hike for introductions.

Northbound:

Take 75 North to exit 285.

Turn Right at exit 285 and drive along until you reach the lake.

Right BEFORE the bridge, there is a small parking lot and this is where we will meet.
