Itinerary:

 

This is an 8-ish mile hike on trails, rocks, boardwalks, and concrete. Mainly dirt trails though!

 

We’ll meet in the parking lot near the children’s playground.

 

The D3 rating comes from the few short steep climbs adding up to around 800ft elevation gain, and difficult rocky terrain in some parts in addition to the fast pace.

 

We will pass by streams, a lake, Champion trees, a suspension bridge, and the Emory University president’s home. 

 

We also might get to see wildlife like Deer, Geese, Ducks!
