Itinerary:

Let's go hike at East Palisades for an explorer Sunday morning 4.5-mile hike. We will be moving at a moderate to fast pace to complete our hike by 9:30 am and plan to start at the the Indian Trail entrance at 8 a.m.  From the entrance, we will hike to the Bamboo Forest, Chattahoochee River, Overlook, and a couple of other interesting places. We will be moving at a moderate to fast pace up hills and on rooted rocky trail to enjoy this beautiful trail which is perfect for our adventurous hikers. Look forward to hiking 🥾


Required Items to Bring:

Water, hiking or athletic shoes,  and snacks.  

Parking pass or $5 parking fee

Recommended Items to Bring:

Poles are helpful for a few of the steep ascents and descents, if you like to use them.

We'll meet at the Indian Trail Enterance  entrance to the unit (1425 Indian Trail NW, Sandy Springs, Ga).


Notes:

Remember to bring $5.00 for a parking pass, unless you have an annual pass.

No restrooms at this location, but trees are abundant.
