Itinerary:

Please join me for a hike at Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park.

We will hike over Big Kennesaw, Little Kennesaw, and Pigeon Hill to Burnt Hickory Road and then turn around and go back the way we came. We will take a hydration break at Burnt Hickory and as needed.

This is a moderate paced D4 hike 1600+ feet elevation gain. This is a challenging hike with rocky/rooty terrain and the elevation gain. We will stay together as a group and regroup if we get separated.

You must have recent strong D3 or greater AOC experience to participate in this hike.

We will meet in front of the visitor center. Please plan accordingly to arrive at the hike 10-15 minutes early so we can start the hike on time.

Please note that Kennesaw requires a daily $5.00 pass, Kennesaw annual pass $40.00, or the America the Beautiful Pass. You can purchase your pass in the visitor center, at the automated machine in the parking lot, or online.
