Itinerary:

Start 2026 with an amazing hike with your AOC friends. We will do the classic loop to the Len Foote Inn from the top of the falls. 

From the top of the falls (near the bathrooms), we will take the AT Approach trail over Frosty Mountain to the Len Foote Inn Trail. We will eat leisurely lunch at the Len Foote Inn before continuing on the Len Foote Trail back to the falls. 

Len Foote Inn may or may not be open to use the rest rooms and refill water. If the Len Foote is open, they typcially have warm beverages to warm us up!

We will hike at an average of 2.7 miles/hour but will take breaks for water and to keep the group together.

Carpool Cost: Estimated cost per vehicle for this event is $35.20 using a reimbursement rate guideline of $0.400 per mile. The total amount should be divided by the number of people in the vehicle, including the driver. This is a guideline, not a rule, for drivers but the cost should not be higher unless there are extenuating circumstances.
