Itinerary:

This is one of two hikes in Clayton over the weekend.  The 2nd hike will be a D3 at Panther Creek Falls on Saturday, 3/14.  Trip leaders will be staying at the Bridge Creek Inn, Main Street Clayton, on Saturday night, 3/14.  For those staying in Clayton, a dinner will be organized for the group.  We can also assist with carpool for those who are planning to attend both hikes.

We will get to be at two overlooks, and around a lake, about 11 miles, and 3000ft elevation gain at Black Rock State Park, the highest altitude park in Georgia.

We will start on the Tennessee Rock Trail going counterclockwise to Black Rock Mountain. Depending on the weather, you MIGHT be able to actually see Tennessee from the overlook.

Then we will go on Edmonds Trail Loop clockwise direction.

We will be on the Edmonds Trail West Fork, go around the lake.  Our lunch will either be at the lake or on the Lookout Mountain overlook.   We will then complete the loop back to our cars.
