Greetings Atlanta Outdoor Club hikers! Come join me for a Valentine's Day event! About the hike: The Chamblee Rail Trail runs through the heart of Chamblee and is a scenic/fun urban hike along a paved path. It incorporates green spaces, vibrant public art installations and passes near homes, restaurants, shops and more. Chamblee's Rail Trail has spurred significant redevelopment in the surrounding area over the past few years ... and there is a plan for the trail to continue to grow in the years to come. Some parts of this path feel like the Atlanta Beltline, but it is not as crowded. This place is a true gem! We'll start our hike inside Chamblee Tap and Market since it will be cold outside at our meeting time. - 3509 Broad St Suite 400, Chamblee, GA 30341 This hike also includes walking through Keswick Park near the Rail Trail on a dirt path. Keswick Park is about 45 acres and includes a small trail through a wooded area, ball fields, and tennis/pickleball courts. We will hike this five mile route at a moderate pace. This hike includes a few hills. After the hike, there is an option to meet for coffee/breakfast at Sidecar Coffee located inside Chamblee Tap & Market.
