Itinerary:

Please join me for an early morning hike at Sope Creek . �We will start our hike promptly at 8:30 am. Hike will be 2.5 hours and about 6 miles moderate pace.� There are a few rolling hills, nothing super strenous.�Start at Sope Creek head into Cochran Shoals and then back to our cars

�There have been cases of vandalsm to vehicles so leave all valuables at home.

�

$5 parking fee required unless you have a CRNRA Annual pass.� Meet at the Sope Creek parking lot on Paper Mill Road.

Paper Mill Road entrance of the Chattahoochee� RIver National Recreational Area.

From eastbound Interstate 285

  • Take exit 24, Riverside Drive.
  • Left For 2.3 miles to Johnson Ferry Road.
  • Left for 2.7 miles to the junction of Johnson Ferry Road and Paper Mill Road.
  • Left onto Paper Mill Road for 3.0 miles, entrance will be on the left.

From westbound Interstate 285

  • Take exit 24, Riverside Drive.
  • North For 2.3 miles to Johnson Ferry Road.
  • Left for 2.7 miles to the junction of Johnson Ferry Road and Paper Mill Road.
  • Left onto Paper Mill Road for 3.0 miles, entrance will be on the left.
