Itinerary:

Red Top Mountain is a great place to walk on soft, wide trails that are non-technical and gently rolling.  We'll start at the Visitor Center and head up towards the Trading Post on the Sweet Gum Trail and Osprey Loop.  Then cross Red Top mountain Road and hike to Iron Hill trail, once there we'll take the 3.8 mile loop which often meanders along the lake. Then we'll head back and take the Homestead Trail without doing the Homestead loop.

A Georgia State Park Pass is required. A day pass can be purchased for $5, or you can often borrow one from your library or even better plan to carpool with someone who has one.
