Itinerary:

 

If you're not doing carpool, directions are to the golf course, where the group gathers at 9:30 AM Eastern—weather gods permitting. After greetings and gear checks, and release forms are filled out  we’ll pare down to two vehicles to make the short journey to Leda Wall, sharing space and trimming the $14‑per‑car parking cost. Because of this arrangement, everyone will remain for the full climb, unless you want to walk all the way back up to the tip of the mountain.

 

Once at the climbing access lot we will walk the .75 mile to the Upper Leda climbing area. 

When the climbing’s done and the last rope is coiled, we’ll retrace our path to the lot, and drive back up to the proshop.

You must have attended at least a few AOC indoor events recently. You should be working on climbing at a level that is approximately equivalent to Central Rock 5.9+ or higher.

Carpool Cost: Estimated cost per vehicle for this event is $58.40 using a reimbursement rate guideline of $0.400 per mile. The total amount should be divided by the number of people in the vehicle, including the driver. This is a guideline, not a rule, for drivers but the cost should not be higher unless there are extenuating circumstances.
