Itinerary:

This hike will give you a nice introduction to hiking. Turner Lake Park offers paved trails as well as forest trails. We will have about 145 foot elevation gain while enjoying views of the lake and the surrounding woodland. The pace will be leisurely so we can enjoy the scenery and talk with our companion hikers. The 3 miles will be completed before you realize. The trail has some roots so good shoes are a plus.

We will meet up near entrance at the Senior Center at 9:50 am and start our hike at 10:00 am.

Parking is free.

After the hike, we will meet at Your Pie for a bite to eat.

Required Items to Bring:

Water and good shoes.

Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.

A hat is always nice for shade in the few sunny spots. Hiking poles are nice if you need the extra support or assurance over the roots and rough patches.
