Itinerary:

Yes, I am a diehard fan of the number 7, and this urban hike is the perfect amalgam of my love of wandering through city streets in search of art installations, and the desire to include more 7s in my life! So, come join us on 7/7 at 7:07 on this 7.7 mile urban hike to locate and photo-tag ... you got it: 7 Tiny 7-inch doors installed in unusual locations along the way. Bonus: Spring flowers AND 15,000+ steps! Sound good?

Here's the plan: We'll meet at the southern tip of the Atlanta Beltline Eastside Trail, walk the beltline, wander through some artsy neighborhoods, explore a graffitti-rich tunnel, admire the scattered beltline art installations, tag the Piedmont Park lake, and make our way back, all the while searching for those elusive Tiny Doors. Who knows, we may get lucky and actually find a tiny person sunbathing in a tiny beach chair beside one of those tiny doors!

BTW, Tiny Doors ATL is the brainchild of Atlanta artist Karen Anderson Singer, who installs tiny 7-inch doors in various public and private locations around Atlanta. For more info about her work, and the Tiny Door project, go here: https://tinydoorsatl.com/
