Join us for one of North Georgia’s classic hikes as we complete the loop connecting Amicalola Falls, the Appalachian Approach Trail, and the Len Foote Hike Inn. We’ll start from the Top of the Falls parking area and hike clockwise, following the Appalachian Approach Trail through mountain forests, creek valleys, and several scenic overlooks with long- range mountain views. Around the halfway point we’ll reach the Len Foote Hike Inn, a unique backcountry lodge accessible only by foot. We’ll stop for lunch, relax on the porch, and enjoy the views before returning via the Hike Inn Trail, a beautiful route that winds through hardwood forest and along several small streams. This loop offers a little bit of everything—waterfalls, mountain views, peaceful forests, and one of Georgia’s most unique hiking destinations. Pace will be Moderate. We’ll stay together as a group with periodic stops for water, photos, and regrouping.

A Georgia State Parks Pass or daily parking pass is required. Parking is currently $10 per vehicle.
