Itinerary:

Let's take an urban hike around downtown Atlanta and check out the FIFA World Cup area while it is still up and running! (We will also beat the heat and the crowds at the same time!)
Let's plan to meet in front of the First Church of Christ, Scientist in Midtown Atlanta at 8am ET. (150 15th Street NE, Atlanta) There is some free street parking in that area.
From there, we'll walk down Peachtree Street, pass by the Fox Theatre, pass through the downtown hotel district, and then make our way toward Centennial Olympic park and then the Atlanta Stadium area, where the FIFA World Cup festivities are taking place. We will likely stop at a couple of points to take photos and take in the festive scenery. We'll then circle back the same way back to our starting point.

The hiking surface is concrete and we'll hike at a moderate pace. There are some places to stop for a restroom break, if needed.

After our hike, there is an option to stop for coffee/light breakfast at Colony Square.
