Itinerary:

 

 

The hike is about 13 miles long and climbs less than 3000 feet. A significant part of that elevation gain will happen in the first 3 miles.

We will stop at every overlook and enjoy the breeze (hopefully).

Our pace will average 2.7mph, we will take a 10 minutes snack break at the West Overlook (mile 6) followed by 20 minutes swim/lunch break by the lake (mile 9).

We will park at the parking lot closest to trailhead, it's a gravel small parking on the side of the road (easy to miss), please arrive early to drive up to the Trading Post to use the bathrooms if needed.
