Elijah Clark State Park is located in Lincolnton GA, on the western shore of 71,100-acre Clarks Hill Lake, one of the largest lakes in the Southeast. The park is a 2.5 hour drive from Atlanta, hence the later start time. We will be paddling from Elijah Clark State Park to the Soap Creek Marina Restaurant, having lunch, and then paddling back. The mileage is an estimate, but it will be a longer paddle than some of the previous 12 paddles. Lets explore a new lake together! Elijah Clark State Park does have kayak rentals for $25.00 plus tax for the entire day. They do not take reservations for rentals so please arrive early to be sure you secure a boat.
I will post the following paddles at least 1 month ahead of the date of the event. The paddles with the * will have boat rentals. I have 1 make-up paddle listed but will likely repeat others over the summer so you will have several opportunities to get 12 paddles. The last paddle is at the Okefenokee, we will rent some cabins and have a celebration for those folks who paddle in 12 parks in 2026.
