This note is here so that you can make an informed decision. When a Trip Leader isn't personally familiar with a trip, there is an increased chance of things not going as planned and you need to be prepared. The Trip Leader may have additional details in the itinerary.

Itinerary:

We will be following the Clues in Cluetown Oakland Cemetery to explore the cemetery in a new way! After the scavenger hunt in the cemetery, we will walk approximately 1/4 miles to Grant Park to hike a loop through the park before proceeding back to our cars.

We will meet at the Entrance Gate at Oakland Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. There is a free parking lot right across the street from the gate.

Since I have never completed this Clue Town Scavenger Hunt the distance is an estimate. Everyone should bring a writing utensil for the scavenger hunt.

An optional post hike lunch 6 Feet Under for anyone interested!

The Clue Town Oakland Cemetery Book and other Atlanta scavenger hunts can be found at cluetownbooks.com. I have purchased the book so you will not need one to participate in this scavenger hike!

Directions from MARTA

Exit the King Memorial Station to Decatur Street. Head west (take a LEFT) to Grant Street. Turn LEFT onto Grant Street & follow to Marting Luther King, Jr. Drive SE. Take LEFT onto Marting Luther King Jr, Drive. The main gate of Oakland Cemetery will be straight ahead. The walk will take 7-10 minutes.
