HIKE DESCRIPTION:

Please join me for a self paced hike at Stone Mountain. We will summit the mountain 4 TIMES.  To receive credit you must complete the 4 summits in the 3 hours 30 minutes. 

MEETING POINT:

We will meet outside the bathrooms by the beginning of the walk up trail. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early.  Hike will start promptly at 8:30 a.m.

PARKING:

Stone Mountain requires a parking pass, daily $20.00 or yearly $40.00.

Address: Stone Mountain Walk Up Trail Parking Lot, Robert E. Lee Blvd., Stone Mountain, GA

From I-285/US-78 interchange on the east side of town, take U.S. Highway 78 East about 7.7 miles. Bear right at Exit #8 to the Stone Mountain Park main entrance. After entering, follow Jefferson Davis Drive about a mile straight ahead. Bear right onto Robert E. Lee and follow it about another mile. Past the gate on your right, you will see the parking lot on your left. We will meet outside the restroom building at the base of the walk up trail.
