Itinerary:

Sleep in, then join me for a late morning hike around Stone Mountain via the Connector/Cherokee trails. And then we'll hike up to the summit. At the top, we'll stop for a little while to enjoy the view and a snack. 

Please be sure you are able to do the distance and make the climb in the time alotted.

 

PARKING AND MEETING

We'll meet near the restrooms at the walkup trail. Arrive early to park, find the group, use the restroom, intros, all that. We will leave promptly at 9:30

Daily parking fee is $25. Unless you have an annual pass ($40)

There is also free parking outside the park in Stone Mountain Village. You can walk thru the E. Mountain gate for entry into the park. Please add extra time for this!
