Itinerary:

Tribble Mill is an 800 acre Gwinnett County park with about 12 miles of singletrack trail that includes lakeside trails, a few short steep climbs and otherwise a well "canopied" trail to escape the hot sun!   We'll stay together through the complex network of trails, including most of the 8 mile Chainbuster Endurance race route (see map).  The trail includes a couple of creek crossings, a fun "whoop-de-doo" feature called the "Taco Stand" and some interesting rock features.

The moderate to difficult rating is due mostly to the climbing required.  Beginner riders with decent endurance are welcome to join us, but the trail is best suited for experienced riders.  Our pace will be modest, since the trail isn't as open and fast as trails such as Harbins or Blankets. The combination of twistiness and rootiness require a more deliberate style of riding.  Comparable GA trails include the Conyers Horse Park and "Chicopee" in Gainesville (though not quite as open).

• Water (recommend 2 quarts and something cold post-ride)

• Portable Air Pump to carry on your bike
• Bicycle "Multi-Tool" (+ adjustable Wrench if needed to remove wheel) 
• Tire Levers (2 or 3) for replacing a damaged tube
• Tube-Patching Kit in case you have more than 1 flat, pinhole flat, etc.

DIRECTIONS FROM I-85/I-285 "SPAGHETTI JUNCTION" INTERCHANGE:
(It's about 25 miles each way -- about 42 minutes) 

FROM the I-85/ I-285 INTERCHANGE in NE ATLANTA: (Allow about 35 minutes for the 26-mile drive from this interchange to Harbins Park.)
1) Take I-85 North about 10 miles and exit at GA-316, Exit #106 (bearing right here toward Lawrenceville and Athens).
2) Take GA-316 East about 2.0 miles and exit to your Right at Sugarloaf Pkwy.
3) Turn Right onto Sugarloaf Parkway, go about 8.4 miles and exit to your Right at New Hope Rd. (Your GPS may not show that Sugarloaf continues to this point.)
4) Turn Right onto New Hope Road and go 2.2 miles to Tribble Mill Pkwy.
5) Turn right.  Caution: This turn is after a sharp right bend, and is 1/2 mile after the light at Grayson New-Hope Rd.
6) Go 1.4 miles and turn right at stop sign.  After crossing bridge, look for Harry's bright green Element on the left.   Start of trail is on the right near bridge.
