Itinerary:
Please allow us to borrow a term from hockey for the first of three (H)at (A)nd (T)rivia events we are doing this week -- a "HAT trick".  :)

This first event is at Kennesaw Mountain.  We will meet at the Visitor Center and we will hike over and down Kennesaw Mountain and up toward the top of Little Kennesaw Mountain until we reach the bench around the cannons up there.  We will take a short break if needed then back track over Kennesaw Mountain again to return to the Visitor Center for a total of about 4 miles going at a moderate to semi-fast pace.

We will start the hike promptly at 5:30 pm and should be finished around 7:15 pm.

Afterward, please join us for the optional trivia portion of the event at "Keegans Public House" (678-213-2460) which is only a few miles away from the park at 7:30 PM.

Don't worry if you are not "good" at trivia.  It is just an excuse to socialize after a hike!  :)

When you sign up, please write in the note section whether you plan to attend the optional trivia portion or not so we know whether we need to reserve a large table for us.  Thank you.  :)

Event Directions:From I-75 North
To exit 269 (Barrett Parkway). At the stoplight turn left onto Barrett Parkway. Follow Barrett Parkway for approximately 3 miles, turn left at the light, onto Old Hwy 41. Turn right at your next light, Stilesboro Rd. The visitor center will be immediately on your left. Brown and white signs located along the roads will guide you as well.

From I-75 South
To exit 269 (Barrett Parkway). At the stoplight turn right onto Barrett Parkway. Follow Barrett Parkway for approximately 3 miles, turn left at the light, onto Old Hwy 41. Turn right at your next light, Stilesboro Rd. The visitor center will be immediately on your left. Brown and white signs located along the roads will guide you as well.

From I-575 North
To exit 1 (Barrett Parkway). At the stoplight turn left onto Barrett Parkway. Follow Barrett Parkway for approximately 3.5 miles, turn left at the light, onto Old Hwy 41. From I-575 South
To exit 1 (Barrett Parkway). At the stoplight turn right onto Barrett Parkway. Follow Barrett Parkway for approximately 3.5 miles, turn left at the light, onto Old Hwy 41. Notes:

A maximum of 3 friendly dogs are permitted on this hike. They must be on a leash at all times and you must pick up after your pets per park rules. Please keep in mind if you do bring pets, you may have issues attending the optional trivia portion of the event.
