The North Georgia mountains may not be the Rockies (or the Himalayas), but they include many mtns that make for superb hikes and offer incredible views. For this series, we are counting down the highest peaks in GA... #5 - Tray Mountain
At 4430' above sea level and with 1481' of clean prominence, Tray Mountain is the 2nd highest mtn on the Appalachian Trail in GA and a favorite of dayhikers and backpackers alike. | |||||||
