Itinerary:
Our journey will start start at Track Rock Gap.  in the first 1.5 miles we will climb 1500 to Buzzards Roost Ridge and over the remaining 4ish miles we will gain another 1000 ft elevation to reach the Bald.  Here we will stop for lunch and enjoy the view, maybe even walk around the visitor center for a bit though it is not open.  After lunch, we will return down the same trail, completing the almost 12 miles of hiking. 

This is considered a strenous hike due to the mileage combined with the evlevation gain that we will cover and the pace that will be set.  I want everyone to be ready for this hike and enjoy themselves, so if I have not hiked with you before don't be offended if I reach out to you when you sign up to to rate your comfort level.

Carpool Cost: Estimated cost per vehicle for this event is $62.00 using a reimbursement rate guideline of $0.400 per mile. The total amount should be divided by the number of people in the vehicle, including the driver. This is a guideline, not a rule, for drivers but the cost should not be higher unless there are extenuating circumstances.

Notes:
I am allowing dogs on this hike, however keep in mind this is a strenous hike and please be kind to your fur kid.  If your dog is older, or smaller, this may not be the best hike for them.  As always, bring a leash and be responsible for your animal.
