Itinerary:

We will be meeting at the first parking lot on the left almost immediately after turning in.  The hike/trail run will begin on the lollypop loop and then finish up in the main portion of the park.

The plan is to keep up a steady very fast pace(4-4.5mph) for the entire duration of the hike/jog with NO REST BREAKS.  Although the hike is only slightly more than 5 miles and over relatively easy terrain it is rated as a D3 event due to the pace and is most suitable for people who can comfortably complete D4 and D5 events. I will be walking the entire way but most people have found that they have to consistently jog very slowly or intermittently jog to keep up. This could be a great opportunity for people who are not sure if they are ready for a normal trail running event.

This hike will be taking place rain or shine.  Please try to arrive a couple of minutes early as we will be starting right on time at 9:00am and will not be waiting for late comers to ensure we finish as scheduled at 10:15am.

Event Directions:

From northbound US 19 and GA 400
- Take exit #6 (Northridge Road).
- Coming off the exit, stay in the right lane, cross over GA 400, and turn right onto Dunwoody Place.
- Go 0.5 miles to Roberts Drive.
- Turn right and proceed 0.7 miles to the park entrance on your right.

From southbound US 19 and GA 400
- Take exit #6 (Northridge Road)
- Continue straight ahead at the traffic light onto Dunwoody Place.
- Go 0.5 miles to Roberts Drive.
- Turn right and proceed 0.7 miles to the park entrance on your right.

Park in the first lot to your left, immediately after you pass through the gate.
