Join me for a fun hike at Kennesaw National Battlefield Park! This is a great hike! This is a modest trail with a good mix of trail terrain's and types. We will encounter wide multi-use trails where we will likely share the path with horses and also find much of the trail to be the more common single track style. We will also encounter hills and relatively flat conditions. The trail takes us from the parking lot on Cheatham Hill ROAD over to the Illinois Monument. From there we will head
North towards Pigeon Hill crossing over Dallas Highway (Hwy 120) and Burnt Hickory Road NW. This section has the most "multi-use" trails. Our return hike will be mostly single track and is where we will encounter more hills and mountain like conditions. We’ll hike about 7.0 miles. We’ll make a stop or two along the way but I hope to complete the hike in about 3 hours which puts us at a good pace.
