Itinerary:

We'll take a leisurely pace to the top of Stone Mountain as the day is ending.  Sunset will be around 8:30 pm, so we should get a great view from the top and then descend as the sun is dropping into the horizon.

Folks can pace themselves to the top of the mountain, but keep in mind that we have a deadline! We will leave promptly at 7:30 pm, then linger a little while at the top.  We'll return down as it is getting dark, so headlamps or flashlights are heavily suggested.  We'll take the gravel road down if it is full dark to keep our footing a little more secure!

Rain jacket/Wind breaker!
