Itinerary:

We'll leave the park and ride at Mansel road at 7:30. Be on time! We should have our hike permit and be on the trail by 9 am. About half way around the loop we will take a deture to Coosa Ball for lunch. It's only about a 1/4 mile from the trail. We'll go at a pace that will take us about 7 hours including the lunch stop on Coosa Ball. A moderate pace for me is a little over 2 mph average: slower uphil and faster downhill. Some (or all) of us will eat dinner in Dahlonega after the hike.

Take 400 north to GA 19 all the way to Vogel. There are some turns so watch the signs.
