Tired of winter? Its time to get back outdoors. Join us for our spring camping trip. We will arrive at Crockford-Pigeon Mountain Wilderness area on Friday evening. After dinner, well enjoy the usual camp activities around the fire. Well be camping in a primitive site (no facilities ). During the day, you have your choice of activities. There are 42.5 miles of hiking trails, 42.5 miles of mountain biking trails, as well as rock climbing and fishing in the area.

Sleeping bag/pad
Tent
Weather appropriate clothing (remember it gets chilly in the mountains at night)
Flashlight
Toilet paper

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Lafayette, Ga 9:00 at the Ranger Check in Station. Take I-75 North to Hwy 136. Take Hwy 136 North/West to Lafayette. Once in Lafayette, follow the signs for Hwy 27. From the junction of Hwy 27 and 193 drive West on 193 2.8 miles to Chamberlain Rd and turn Left. Drive 3.6 miles to Rocky Lane, on the right which leads into the WMA. Turns are marked with signs for the WMA. Meet at the Ranger station. If you have a 4-wheel drive vehicle, please drive it. The roads, although generally passable by passenger vehicle, are often steep and always very rough.

Notes:

Are Dogs Permitted? Well-behaved dogs are permitted upon approval of the trip leader. We will limit the number of dogs on the trip on a first come first served basis. Keep in mind that dogs must be leashed at ALL times. Dogs must be accompanied at all times so they cant be left alone in camp.

Cost Includes:$15.00 per person - This includes 2 dinners, 2 breakfasts, and 2 lunches. (We will provide for special food requirements if you let us know IN ADVANCE). Cancellation okay before April 22nd for partial refund (minus paypal fees). No refunds after April 22nd.
