Join us for a beautiful hike from Amicalola Visitor Center to the top of Springer Mtn, the southern end of the Appalachian Trail.

For the hike, you can choose to start at the Visitor Center with Stefan (approx. 19 miles round-trip) or drive to the top parking lot and hike from there with Gary (approx. 17 miles total). The two groups will meet up and continue on the AT approach trail via Frost Mtn (mile 4.6) and Nimblewill Gap (mile 5.9) to Springer Mtn (mile 8.1; 3,782 feet).  On the way back, we will turn onto the Len Foote Trail and hike a mile to Len Foote Hike Inn.  We will stop at the Inn for a short break and a cold beverage, then continue our hike back to the parking area via the Len Foote route.
