Itinerary:

This is a unique event featuring a walk through inman Park and a portion of the East Beltline plus an optional 3-hour air-conditioned bus tour of the Atlanta Beltline.

The walk will start at the Marta Station at Inman Park.  We'll walk along the paved PATH to North Highland Avenue, at which point we'll head west to pick up the Eastside Beltline and travel south.

When we reach Irwin Street, we'll leave the Beltline and head to the Krog Street Market for a bathroom break and something to eat before heading back to the Marta station.

For those who can afford the time, we'll then take a 3-hour bus tour of the Atlanta Beltline.  The tour is absolutely free, though I have to know whether or not you'll be staying with us so that I can make a reservation for you as part of our AOC group.  The tour starts at 9:30 am and ends at 12:30 pm.

"The Atlanta BeltLine Bus Tour offers a unique glimpse into the exciting developments along the Atlanta BeltLine. Ride in comfort while learning about the events that brought the Atlanta BeltLine into being, the latest projects happening along the Atlanta BeltLine, and the incredible long-term plans for the entire 22-mile corridor. It is truly the quickest, easiest, and most relaxing way to immerse yourself in the details surrounding the city's most comprehensive urban renewal program in its history, so hop on the bus!"

Participants on the hike and optional tour can take Marta right to the Inman Park/Reynoldstown station, or drive their cars and park in the Park and Ride lot located at 1055 Dekalb Avenue, NE, Atlanta, GA 30307
