Itinerary:
Please join us this Sunday at Kennesaw Mountain for a dayhike that will include a mix of terrain and also a visit to its historic summit.  The forecast projects temperatures in the high 60s and a reduced chance of rain!

We will start at Burnt Hickory doing a .5 on New Salem Church Trail on the Burnt Hickory side of park, then we go up the stairs and cross Burnt Hickory Rd to Camp Brumby Trail. We will take this trail around the base of mountain to the visitor center. Don’t worry, there are some hills to get your heart pumping right away. We will take a short break at visitor center to regroup. Now the real workout starts, we will then proceed up Kennesaw Mountain to Little Kennesaw and then to Pigeon Hill and down to the parking lot at Burnt Hickory for a 6.5 mile loop.  There is a 1019 ft elevation gain on this hike - so this will be a workout.

Meet at Burnt Hickory parking lot. No BATHROOMS at this location. Come early as the parking lot will fill up and you may need to wait for a spot.
