Itinerary:
This is listed as a D3 hike, but it is really a D2, D3, or D4 depending on how you would like to approach it. We will be taking three different trails to the top, each time looping back down through the parking area. So if anyone has had enough at those points, they are welcome to call it a day, and get whatever level of hike they'd like.

Each loop is roughly 2.5 miles with about 450 feet of elevation gain. For the maximum workout, I will be doing the full three loops, which should put it solidly in D4 territory at about 8 miles and 1350 feet of total ascent.

This is a nice park with some scenic views of the distant Blue Ridge mountains to the North. All of the trails are well graded with relatively even terrain, and nearly all of the trail is under tree cover.

The Park restricts the maximum group size to 10, so I will have to keep it at or below that limit for this hike.
