Itinerary:

Come paddle Sunday afternoon on the Chattahoochee River. We will begin at Azalea Park and paddle up river towards Roswell for about 3 miles. Once we pass both bridges and see some great views of the Chattahoochee, we will make our way back. We will maintain a steady pace so that we reach our destination and be back down stream to finish by 5:30 pm.  This is a nice area to paddle with lots of wildlife and nature to see. I look forward to paddling with everyone!! We will meet at Azalea Park in the parking lot across from the Atlanta Rowing Club. We will paddle approximately 5-6 miles at a moderate pace, so this is not for beginners. Also this is a bring your own boat and pdf event.

Parking: Some of you may be concerned about parking, but I think that it will not be as busy as usual,  because it is Father's Day. Should the parking lot be so packed that all of us cannot park there or along the side of the road, we will improvise if necessary.  I think we should have enough parking.
