Itinerary:

Please join me for a late afternoon hike at Sawnee Mountain - we are not climbing the traditional mountin trail but will explore the newer trails.  The plan is to hike about 5 miles in about 2 1/2 hours. pace will be about 2 1/2 mph on the level areas but we will be taking it much slower on the hills. There are quite a few hills but this will be a nice and easy hike

If you are looking for a fast paced hike this is not it.

Parking is free

Restrooms are available

sorry, no dogs allowed at Sawnee Preserve

Please arrive about 15 min early in order to use the facilites and meet your fellow hikers - we will leave the parking area promptly at 4:00
