Itinerary:

Let's hike at one of my favorite trails along the Chattahoochee River:  “Island Ford” before enjoying our Thanksgiving Dinner. The Island Ford trail is a fun trail with moderate slopes, rocky terrain, and narrow trails. This gives the trail just enough variety  to make it a fun trail to hike.

Also, hiking this trail is perfect for burning off calories before eating too much at Thanksgiving Dinner. In addition to energizing and burning off calories, the views of the Chattahoochee River, nature, and wild life are amaizing on this section of trail. With this in mind, we will start at the first parking lot on the left and hike the lollipop to complete a  3-mile hike before Thanksgiving Dinner.

While this is not one of my easier D1s, it is a fun trail to hike!     I look forward to hiking with everyone and encourage newcomers and beginners to join me on this hike!
